About me
Let’s get acquainted!
I’ve been living in Finland since 2001, and I graduated from the University of Tampere with a degree in translation. For over 15 years, I worked in international business roles at large Finnish companies.
Photography has always fascinated me. I’ve long been in awe of photo exhibitions, even before I understood much about composition and light. I marveled at how talented photographers could tell an entire story in a single frame.
When I pick up a camera for the first time. I instantly fell in love with photography. Since then, I’ve completed numerous courses with photographers I admire, honing my skills.
I find immense joy in meeting new people and preparing for photo shoots. For me, photography is a complex and rewarding process, and it’s crucial that people I photograph feel comfortable throughout. A successful shoot is not just about capturing beautiful images but ensuring a positive experience from planning to delivery.
My daughter is my greatest motivator and inspiration and I’m especially passionate about photographing women and mothers with their babies—a theme close to my heart because of my own recent journey into motherhood.
Outside of photography, I enjoy yoga, hiking in nature, reading and traveling.
About my style
How do I work
I specialise in lifestyle photography, which is all about capturing life naturally, with minimal staging and posing. My work focuses on sincerity and tenderness, simplicity and authenticity—whether it’s a baby’s chubby hand, a favorite toy, or a cozy Sunday tea.
I work with natural light. My style is perfect for family photography, love stories, and portraits of women in natural settings—whether at home, in a café, or outdoors.
I love how the camera plays with light and shadow, creating a cinematic atmosphere. Capturing moody, atmospheric shots with deep contrasts is something I truly enjoy.
While authenticity is key, thoughtful preparation is also important. Together, we’ll plan the session, discuss outfit recommendations, and choose or prepare the perfect location. I love home family photo shoots, but I also believe a sincere story can be beautifully captured in a studio setting.
There’s no need for stiff poses or forced smiles. Instead, feel free to play, tickle, hug, sip tea, and enjoy the process! 🤍
